Iolo's Snowdonia tomorrow evening 8.30pm
« on: 20:11:31, 27/01/18 »
I am not sure whether the series is only being shown on BBC Wales, but Iolo Williams, has a new four part series devoted to Snowdonia.
I was watching a rerun of his magnificent Brecon Beacons in Four Seasons on BBBC Four, last week, and he is a great naturalist, and is a superb ambassador for the Wales Tourist Board.
The series starts tomorrow evening at 8.30.

It’s been well advertised on BBC Wales, if it’s anything like his series on the Beacons it’ll be a cracker.
Touching from a distance, further all the time.

Thanks for the headsup, I wouldn't have known it was on otherwise.

It's channel 952 on a Sky box.

On Monday 29th, not "tomorrow" which is Sunday!

Just watched the first episode and really enjoyed it, especially the pine martens  :)

What a great first introduction to Snowdonia, particularly for someone who had never visited this part of NW Wales before.
I am glad he included the Rhinogs, even though they receive very few visitors.
Pine Martens in Plas Y Brenin forest,  that was certainly the highlight of the first episode.

Another five to go, cannot wait to see what he comes up with next.,  quality tv.
