Hello, from a hiking newbie

How do Hikers.

I've just joined, live in Manchester and am very new to hiking.  I'm hoping to do all the Welsh 3000's next year (not the challenge.... yet).

Will look at the Lakes and Yorkshire after that :)

Welcome from Portsmouth. I'll be driving past Manchester on Saturday to the Lake District for a couple of days and I'm hoping the weather will be reasonable.

Welcome from Aberdeenshire. There are some fantastic hikes amongst the Welsh 3000s, but you will need a head for heights on some of them.
