Thank you both. The crane is no longer in use, the small dock doesn't receive boats any more, but the crane is useful to add interest to a photo.


My photo's are not up to the standard of some of the more experienced photographers, I have a small point and shoot Cannon ixus 185 which is adequate for the blog. I am not familiar with complicated editing programmes, I just use the crop for getting rid of dead space around the edges, tweak the colour slightly, and tweak the contrast to sharpen.
