Title: Where the heck was I - 1999 ?
Post by: Penygadair on 19:52:03, 14/11/17
Scanning some old photos into the computer I came across a batch from a week in the Lakes in 1999 and sure enough I hadn't recorded where I took them.

I think they were taken on a walk from Langdale to Rosthwaite over the Stake Pass. Can anyone confirm?

Was this little waterfall on the Langstrath side?

The 2nd photo is looking back along Great Langdale from Stake Pass, I have an almost identicle photo on my website from when I did the Cumbria Way.

Yes like Bri says it is over Stake Pass. The water fall in the last pic is on the descent to Langstrath from Stake Pass. Bowfell is the mountain seen in the pic from the cairn on Stake Pass.
