Hi, recent newcomer to walking. I intend to do the WHW late June in 7 days, camping., carrying bout 14 kg pack, I'm reasonably fit. Could anyone out there give me an idea of the weekly regime i need to complete before setting off on my 95 mile trek?

Go for lots of walks (!) - building up the distance and pack weight gradually.
Are you wild camping? (Only your pack weight seems a bit high for a 5 day walk)

Like Mike says, build up gradually, both weight and distance. The WHW is a resonably easy walk, mainly along old military roads with a couple of stiff climbs thrown in towards the end.If you want to get in really good shape jog a few miles three times a week and do a long walk of 10-15 miles each weekend. The biggest problem is the hard surface, make sure you have good footwear that can stand up to constant pounding when carrying a heavy pack.
