Lake District: Central Fells
We were back to the Lakes today after a gap of 16 days (which seemed like an eternity). This walk was just to give the foot a bit sterner test than the short local walks I have been doing of late. We left the car at Miller Bridge,Ambleside and walked over Miller Brow and down to Loughrigg Tarn. From there a short walk along to Red Bank to meet up with the Loughrigg Terrace walk which we followed back past the cave to Pelter Bridge and then back to Miller Bridge. Nothing too serious but there where a few nice views along the way.
Dist: 6.25 miles Ascent: 1006 feet Time: 2h 45m

Hopefully it will heal over the Christmas period and you will be o.k for 2008
I know what it is like having a foot injury.... ( a right pain in the ar.e ) remember take your time the last thing you want is to go over on it, on the ice or damp.

Cheers guys,
I'm just taking it easy.....Just doing shortish walks (5 miles) and seeing how it goes. Did a local walk yesterday and one near Kendal today. Here's a picture from todays walk. Recognise it?
Taken from Cunswick Scar near Kendal
