You could do a trip report of your bike ride to work. I'd read it. :) It would be a novelty.

I haven't used my bike to get to work as yet  :(  I am a danger to myself and other people at the minute.

I nearly went head first into a ditch and then I fell of it on another practise session. I got back on it last night and managed to keep in a straight line for 30ft without too much wobbling. I didn't fall off.

Rob any TR would read

Wobbled for 20 feet, fell off, got back on and wobbled for another 20 feet, fell off and repeat  ;D

I am determined to master this cycling malarkey, I will be back out tonight for another practise.

You can do it! The "got back on", "repeat" and "determined" is all that's usually required.  O0

Good luck!

I missed this one.  Nice write up and piccies April.

Good luck with the cycling too.  If you're struggling, perhaps you could get some stabilisers  :D   :o

Thanks Rob and Mel  :)

I have looked into stabilisers  ;D They don't work with bikes with gears for some stupid reason or I would get some  ;D

Rain has stopped play, no bike practise tonight, it is chucking it down  :(

Same here, It might help if you have somewhere to go to. Even if it's just around the block. just having some kind of goal can help.

Perhaps three wheels are better than two, April  :D

Seriously - stick with it - cycling is great once you have mastered it  :)

Owen, sadly the rain was too heavy so I didn't get out last night. It it better weather for this evening so I am going to practise for longer tonight.

Richard, I did consider getting a trike! I do hope I can get the hang of it, I look at all the cyclists I am seeing everywhere now with envy.
