27th May 2008
The Tuesday of our stay at Wythop Mill started dull & grey with a few light spots of rain. Edith had indicated that she wanted a "fell free" day today and suggested we go to Keswick for the grandchildrens pressies. After almost 40 years of marriage I know my place so gave in to her wishes. We parked up near Portinscale and made our way to Keswick via the waterside paths and woods. A rather good compromise I thought.
Dist: 9.0 miles Ascent: 767 feet
The pictures for the walk are now available for those wishing to view.

Dave
