I've got to do something to keep me sane during lockdown/self-isolation:

Hulme End, Warslow, and Upper Elkstone:

My plan this evening is to try to 'walk' across the Pyrenees again! I'm going to get out my map and identify where the walk comes onto a road and then leaves it. I'll then go on to Google Streetmap, find those spots and then move to the next one when I find the red and white paint flashes. Sounds like I'm going to have lots of fun!

It's a good job I like maps.

Last night I managed to do a 'virtual hike' from Hendaye, France on the Bay of Biscay to St. Jean Pied de Port on the GR10 hiking route. I just looked at my map and identified where the walk crossed or followed a road and used Streetview to try to see the red and white paint flashes that the French use to show the way ahead. I enjoyed it and had two glasses of rouge, some Danish Blue cheese, savoury biscuits and some olives to keep me in the mood. Only about 500 miles to go to Banyuls Sur Mere on the Mediterranean coast.

I think I might do something similar as well...I'll start with route number 1; not a clue where it is, so it'll be a surprise for me. Cheers.

The latest about Prince Charles doesn't surprise me, how many times have we seen our 'leaders' on TV saying that we the lower people should keep our distance but not us because we are the chosen ones!
