Ferry to Norway?
« on: 14:12:44, 03/09/14 »
Hi, is there a ferry from Northern England or Scotland to Norway? I'm thinking of a bicycle expedition from Prague to Nordkapp and it might be fine to visit UK on the return journey, if I had some spare time  :)

There's harwich to esjberg, Denmark. Closest your gonna get. Hull stopped operating a while ago. Smyril line used to go from Shetland Isles but that's stopped to.

My sons girl friend is from Norway. She has been staying with us for a few days and only just left this afternoon. Norway is expensive so be careful with your money. If you need information just let me know and I'll pass the information on.

There`s the Fred Olsen Line from the Tyne Commissioners Quay at North Shields.

Stena line used run freight out of Immingham they would also take passengers on a first come first served basis. I've just looked at their website and it looks like they've stopped doing this, you could try ringing them to find out if this is the case.
