Mayrhofen seems popular for the brits but I don't think you can go far wrong.

It's a beautiful area and lots of trips available from there too.

Mountains and lakes are out of this world O0

ive been to mayrhofen 3 time snowboarding. great place. my best mate has also been a few times in summer for walking holiday and loves it. there is also a glacier called the hintertaux , so you can ski/board in summer.
