A&B on tour!
Great stuff, love the introduction.
Camping at dusk, near water, amongst bracken, in Scotland and there were some midges, who would have thought it.
I don't know if it is true but that is supposed to have been how old soldiers softened their leather boots.

Nice VR, Beefy, enjoyed that. O0 :)
But those midges, blimey! :o

;D yeah it was the only place suitable the terrain is rough as a bear's wotsit
The sculptor is a rusty old thing to commemorate some bloke, I'll, let Ape answer that one ;D

What was the metal(?) sculpture?
It is dedicated to the poet Hugh MacDiarmid, joint founder of the Scottish National Party and lover of Scotland. Hugh MacDiarmid is the pen name of one of the most famous Scottish poets, renowned for his work both in English and in the Scots language.
I googled it :)

;D You can only be a summit slug if other people are there. During the whole day, we saw 2 people walking , nobody on the hills at all and nobody visited the summit when we were there. The next day we saw a farmer on a quad bike in the distance on the way down and 3 people on bikes in the afternoon. If you want to get away from people walk around Langholm :)

I was disappointed. :( No singing on this vid.
Seriously though I enjoyed it. O0

Well the start music was much better this time O0
You still cannot say "there" can you? :P
Were there any midges then? That's what you get for being adventurous, lol ;D
-
Great video with lovely intro with great music.
Shame about the midges. Many years ago I was told that the midge season and the tourist season coincide. Presumably they like lots of fresh meat.
-
Another cracking vid beefy O0
Looks like there are lots of "Karl routes" around there :D
Thought that you had really gone off track and that monument was Stoodley Pike ;D

Another good video, my god that was a midge fest I think... The camera did pick them up at one point and that was bad! You needed a good breeze to get rid of them if that works, I thought they were bad in the lakes!! Look forward to the cairngorms video :D
