No..........there is no path lochside. Not a good road to walk.  Take the bus to Altafeidh in the glen and pick up the west highland way via the devil's staircase and go that way to K'leven. Good bus service to & from K'leven.

next week, think I'll stick to forest glens, thanks again. Just one other question - are all taxis really expensive in Glencoe? I was taken aback when I was told £15 from Glencoe to Altafeidh one way. Is that normal? They certainly are a lot cheaper in the Trossachs. Does a cheap taxi fare exist?

I don't know about the price of fares..................seems quite expensive!  Try hitching a lift. The road is busy & I see lots of folk getting lifts, especially if you are on your own & have a rucksack...........other walkers will stop for you. I would & do often!  Hope you have a great time......................
