Easedale Tarn and Blea Rigg
« on: 08:17:32, 24/10/08 »
Had a walk over the lakes on Tuesday, had initially planned to go up Helvellyn, but changed my mind due to the weather conditions when I arrived. I ended up starting in Grasmere and walking upto Easedale Tarn then onto Blea Rigg before going across to Silver howe and back to Grasmere. I almost turned round and gave up a couple of times on my way up to the tarn as there was so much water running down the path and the driving rain/sleet, but I stuck it out and was rewarded with some excellent views later in the day when the sun eventually arrived! I've put some photo's I took on this thread, and as normal there's more on my web site if anyone wishes to see them .... http://www.mywainwrights.co.uk

With all the rain we've had in these parts this week you were really lucky to get the weather you did.
