General Walking Discussion / Re: Where are you good people walking DURING the week?
« Last post by vizzavona on Today at 11:35:08 »After a beating from rain and wind when halfway through a circular walk in the Glenmore area last Saturday. Monday had me on a circular walk from Kingussie with Creag Bheag as the high point and in the afternoon a circular over Creag Far leitire in much improved weather conditions. A circuit of the paths, on the following day, West of the river Feshie between Mill Cottage and Ballintean and finishing on Wednesday with the Pillar on the top of Torr Alvie.
Good time for seeing birds....Geese feeding on the grass in fields, Herons perched on nests on top of swaying Noble Firs and with the sight and sounds of the ground nesting spring visitors from the coast.... Lapwings, Oyster catchers and of course Curlews.
