What about March Richard? I don't want ice I've never used an ice axe and the chap who's definitely up for it won't have either. I'd rather not wait until the middle of the year but if it's necessary to avoid this sort of thing so be it.

Might do a winter skills course this year if I'm fit enough.

This is a view of Moel Cynghorion (one hill to the north west of Snowdon) in March 2017.  You couldn't even see Snowdon because of the blizzard conditions.






So yes, there is a possibility of snow on Snowdon in March (sorry).
