That looks like an absolutely smashing day out.


If nothing else, this lockdown malarkey has made us all take a good look at areas to walk that wouldn't even be on our radar normally  :)

Thanks Mel, it really was a cracking day, still smiling even though I've got a report to write today!


Agree about the route planning, what with social distancing and risk assessment it's become quite thought provoking. I'm very lucky in being self-employed, so will probably work a bit over the bank holiday weekend and then have a midweek trip when its quieter.


Just wish I'd remembered the suncream.

I'm with you on your review of 'mini egg bites' - potential to ruin a good day out - luckily they didn't :)

 ;D ;D   I was pretty hungry by the time I got to Branstree so they probably didn't taste as bad as they would do normally - it was a huge disappointment though!  My son has had the error of judgement pointed out to him.
