It's the contrast that does it, the sharp rocks in the foreground, the patterns fields and the sky. Althought I must say I prefer Kidstypikes piccies to my own.

I love looking at your pictures.

I've only walked once in the Lake District - not a pleasant experience as I was chased by a horse. Hilarious now looking back, but not at the time

Normally I can't stand looking at other people's pictures as they so often fail to convey what the photographer felt they were seeing at the time, but many of these shots are marvellous.

Your pictures are really breath taking! You have a real knack for photography and a good camera judging by the pictures! 

I hope your rheumatoid arthritis gets better and does not stop you from capturing your beautiful surroundings.
