I read your blog with interest. It reminded me that I really must do some walking on the Hoo peninsula.

The furthest places I've reached in that direction so far are Cooling, High Halstow and Sharnal Street. I always begin planning walks in faraway places by looking for car parks - and I can see one in Lower Stoke and another by the coast in Grain. That's a good start!

The problem for me is that Grain is only 15 miles from Whitstable as the crow flies, but almost 50 miles by car...
