Good trip report Lee
and lovely photo's
I known the area well ,where you described
The Speedwell cavern and Trek cliffe cavern and Blue John mines
where the road was always collapsing
over many years 
and up to Mam Nick .
On the walk upto Rushup Edge
Did you see the Cowburn tunnell tower
for the ventilation shaft it was for the Chinley railway line to Edale.


The weather was kind for you as well .

Yes I saw the shaft over to the right. A Duke of Edinburgh Award group of teenagers was heading over that way.
