Hoppity hop
« on: 22:46:19, 14/10/21 »
Hello.

Hoppit is a bad play on words, a combination of Hobbit and "hop it", because one of my dogs only has three legs and doesn't walk, but hops!
I'm currently agonising over a pair of boots, and shall be posting in the gear forum, shortly  O0
Cheers

Welcome to the forum from the southern edge of the Lake District, Hoppit.  :)
Amazing that dogs (and cats) seem to manage so well with only three legs.

Where do you do your walking?

Hi Richard,

I'm in Cheshire West so most of my patch covers the Mersey, the canal network, North Wales, Liverpool coast and parts of Lancashire.

I'm daydreaming about getting a cheap van and converting it to a stealth camper, and going on longer hikes with the comfort of knowing I'm my own motorway service station and can overnight if I feel like it. My dogs have various problems: three legs so lower endurance, epilepsy so needs regular drugs, that kind of thing. Having a mobile base would be ace!  8)

Greetings from Northumberland, much good walking near you. I worked on & off at the Wirral over a few years, many happy memories of walks up Moel Famau after work  :)
