Yes indeed..great photo (s) I was lucky enough to do a similar route with snow a couple years ago. ..that horseshoe allows such lovely views. O0

Bit late to the party but those photos of the siskin are superb, Beefy.  O0 


Lovely shot of the Shropshire hills too, GinAndPlatonic - I've only been to the area once (for the weekend & did a few walks) but I thought the area was simply beautiful and have several routes already plotted for my next visit.  :)

Went for a stroll on a local GR-path, leading through small villages and unto the woodland known as the Sonian Forest (in English, in Dutch it's Zoniënwoud). We did have stormy weather yesterday though, and the wary winds came sooner than expected so I was kind of relieved to get out of the forest.
