With strong winds and sub-zero temperatures on the summits yesterday, I opted for a lower level forest walk. Beginning in Donard Park I followed a good track out of the forest towards Tullymore. Upon entering Tullymore, snow blizzards came on. As I walked through Tullymore, snow blizzards ceased and the sun split the trees, literally. As I completed a circular round through Tullymore, snow blizzards came on strong again. Has anyone else had changeable weather within a couple of hours recently elsewhere in the UK? After leaving the forest I retraced my steps back to Donard Park. The total walk was just under 13km.
