More stunning scenery and some lovely waterfall shots, well done Beefy  O0

Your tent blends well into the countryside, guess you may have trouble finding it if you went for an evening stroll  :)

Do you always filter the water even from fast flowing streams?

Regards Keith

thanks WR ...  O0
we sometimes pitch the tent then go for water, we use viewranger just in case we cant find the tent ..  :)

we always filter water, although a lot of it is probably safe to drink, I spotted a dead sheep just above where we collected it one time, so best to filter just in case, I got reallt poorly years ago from drinking water ..

Great video beefy O0  I've done Eagle crag before and I really like the view of the NW fells from there. Seargeant's crag is high on my to do list. Can I ask if the descent into Langstrath is straightforward? Thanks, Henry

Well the descent that we took was a typical Karl route, rough and not straightforward,
There's probably an easier way but I dunno ... :-\

Great as always Beefy, thanks for taking the time to do them for those of us who can't be there. I didn't know what Smithymire Island was called.

Who is that vagrant huddled behind a rock clutching a bin liner?

I watched the video again very carefully looking for an old tramp that I hadn't noticed when we were there.

Then I realised you were referring to me  :o  ;D

@ Henry, the route we took descending to Langstrath is pathless, steep and rough. Also we hit bracken on the way down, unseen from above. It was supposed to be the Wainwright route up Sergeants Crag from Langstrath. I had been up it many years ago and the ascent wasn't too bad as I remember, I think we started descending too early and should have walked a lot further on from Brown Crag before we started descending.
