Another mega bargain for anyone living locally (Glasgow area). Not sure if postage is an option.

Grivel G10 Crampons (used twice) come with point guards and Black Diamond Toolbox Crampon Bag/Pouch @ £35

This thread should be renamed 'Kinky Boots Bargain Hunter Extraordinaire '. I only wish I needed camping equipment and hardcore walking gear but my thanks for your continued effort to save us poor hikers a penny or two Kinky Boots.

Gumtree seems to be a good source. Do you pay the price advertised or is it a bidding place auction site?  (Just spotted a six man tent and loads of equipment for what seems s good price. )

Price advertised I believe - think of it as a online version of local advertising
I'm on the internet!

Went into the Field & Trek area of Sports Direct this morning to buy a 250 size gas cartridge.
They had Coleman brand, with stickers on them saying £4.99 which was about what I expected them to be.
At the till it came up as £2.50 - now if that isn't a bargain I don't know what is!

You could of course have tried Beefy's DIY recommendation and saved even more.

Could have been a live test that went badly wrong, a bit like the one in his kitchen  ::)

Has anyone seen any cheap walking trousers about? They always seem to cost a minimum of £25 even in the cheap outlets!
