Love both sets there Vizzavona - I am very envious, bit it's good to see people able to enjoy the hills.  Thanks for posting.

Yummicking.....I first came across the word in a EUMC journal in the 1960's when a contributor to the journal used the word to describe walking in snow to reach the Hill of his choice.  The word must have lay dormant in my head until a couple of years ago when I used it to describe walking on the neglected old stalkers path coming down from Mullach Clach a' Bhlair. This time walking through deep heather that had grown over the old path.
I did a quick look on the PC this morning and found that the EUMC seem, still today, to use the word Yummick?, it appears, when doing a walk in the Hills.  ;)

Thanks for the background - it's a cracking word and will be finding its way into my vocab.

Me too - I have a soft spot for Braeriach after wild camping by the lochan in the northern corrie a couple of years ago. Great name, too.
