Ceredigion Coastal Path
« on: 12:38:11, 11/08/14 »
I'm looking to get into longer distance walks, and camping for the first time since I was a kid. I have my eye on the Ceredigion Coast Path since it basically sits on my doorstep; Aberporth to Aberystwyth, most likely, over a few days. Not seen much information on that path here, or found much through Google (probably just missed it). Has anyone done the Ceredigion Coastal Path? How was it?

Have a look here, a good blog about the Wales coast path covering Ceredigion. Warning he doesn't like caravans very much  :) : http://charleshawes.veddw.com/category/wales-coast-path/

Cheers! That's a great help. And I'm getting what you mean about the caravans :)

I have a yen to do this one as well as a continuation of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which I walked in two stages over 2 years a couple of years ago now. Not sure when I will have the holiday time to do it though!

I managed to buy a basic guide book in Stanfords in London but the publishers of the book have a website http://www.kittiwake-books.com

Looks like they might have a few useful books around your area.

Maybe worth a look?

Enjoy your walk.
