This was the view across Morecambe Bay last night. The hill to right of centre parly covered with cloud is Black Combe the southermost point of the Lake District.

Beautiful photo Dave, must be wonderful to live by the sea AND the Lakes!

We are very lucky as well as those mentioned we are close to the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and of course the Arnside & Silverdale AONB.

I think the headlights acually add a bit of something to the shot Dizzy, a bit of atmosphere - quite unusual, begins to remind me of 'Close Encounters of the Third kind'.
Consider what the bottom half of the photo would be like without the lights...they enhance it.

Thanks Joester!I tried my hardest to get a shot without the cars but the [censored] just kept on coming.I usually hate the drive to the caravan as done it so many times but the sky was so lovely it was a pleasure.

Lovely pictures. Dizzy - maybe you can crop the picture to get rid of the headlights?

I'd go with joester on this. I think they add a kind of drama to the photo.

Just catching up with myself.
The rest of the Sunset pictures from the other night are now on the website and are located in the "Pictures of the Day" section.
