BTW, what was on the other side of those rocks you jumped from, radder?
A spring mattress I hope  ;D  er more rock....

After the walk Saturday, I was back at the same car the next morning to do the same walk twice in two days, this time with Claire (Dizzy) for company.
The day started the same as the saturday walk overcast but halfway along Derwent Edge the Rain came down.
We did cut the route down to 10 miles do to a late start, But come across a great if sweaty  ;) path up to Lost Lad, But offered wonderful views back towards Ladybower Reservoir, Here is a couple of pics from the Sunday walk

Haha..I definitely would have given the climbing a go, but not the jumping, even if it were a spring mattress there!  :P

Can't wait to get out and do some walks, now that ankle is feeling much better. O0

Cracking photos Mark O0  Glad Dizzy enjoyed the next day even if she did find the famous Derwent edge wobbly Custard! ::)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

a big sorry to you all.
after walking up from bamford, then another road walk to fairholmes my right heel started to give me a lot of pain from an old injury.
we dropped behind a lot, then seeing a group turn off to climb the moors we followed, only to find out it wasnt you.
turning back down the path we decided to give in for the day.
as i stated in a reply to the guyuk, swapping mobile numbers would help out in an emergency.

as for no signal, my mobile was ok, its vodaphone. the only time i cant get a signal is when i am in edale.
once again, very sorry for any inconveniance caused.  hope you all had a good day.

Yes, I twisted it descending Gowbarrow Fell whilst in the Lakes.
It's not 100% better, but it's getting there. :)
