Thanks LL, I heard a little bit about this on the news this morning but not all of it. I'm pleased it is just between 8pm and 6am but crikey, the people in Threlkeld/Keswick are going to be delighted about this! All the way to Cockermouth?!! I can see a few might take a shortcut or two.

There will be some shorter routes taken but even they are very long.
I know they will want to get the work done as quickly as possible but that feels very early to close and late to reopen.

Nice one LL. Thank you for highlighting this.

Afternoon all
Anyone experienced this closure yet? - I am aiming for an early start tomorrow - hopefully will be passing this closure at around 6.45 and just wondered if anyone knows whether there have been any overruns in the mornings?
