I took down a dry tent and walked in the sun today to Jedburgh. The day before we were nearly washed out when the campsite I'm Innerleithin.
Midge was ill in Peebles and had to see the vet but he is on the mend. The Two Rivers vet practice did not charge for the consultation and contributed to our justgiving page.
Looking forward to Forest Lodge and the PW.

Hi Paul
Sorry to hear Midge has been poorly, I've no doubt he'll bounce back. Enjoy the Pennine Way, I hope the weather improves for you as you move south.

In Alston now weather has been good. Forecast not good. Still enjoying it all. Every day is another walk in lovely scenery.

At tan hill. Seeing the missus for the first time in a month. All going well except the lousy weather.

YouŽre doing great Paul.
keep it up.
I'm all prepared myself to start PW on Wed 5th June..
My bag is already heavy with all the hopes of good weather that IŽm bringing.
Hope to bump into you, though you're really moving so I think youŽll be gone by the time I get to Edale on Tuesday..
Needless to say, IŽll look out for you.

Hoping to see you two on Wednesday, somewhere between Snake Summit and Edale.
There's a lot of folk rooting for you.
I'm the old git with two walking poles...hang on, there's loads of those!!!!
