Lake District - Waterhead
« on: 19:18:36, 19/02/11 »
Following on from the previous entry (An Elterwater walkabout) as we returned to the car I had a phone call from our son who is a Locksmith. He informed me that he was just about to set off for Ambleside to do a small job. Has he didn’t need a lot of tools he was coming on his motorbike.
We arranged to meet up with him at Waterhead for a brew. When we arrived there and after Edith had finally sorted out the new ticket machines into which you first have to input your car registration number we had around 30 minutes to wait so I had a bit of a walk around to get a few pictures.
If the weather is as unpleasant as it here at present I hope they will help brighten your day.
Regards,
Dave

Nice shots Dave, looks like you got a nice day for it!

I parked on that car park the other weekend and it took me a minute or two to figure it out ???  The charges for a short stay are daylight robbery though!
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

We don't often use it, I can usually find a spot nearby but I wondered what was taking Edith so long at the machine..lol
It was a great day,
Regards,
Dave
