I remember camping on a farm campsite at the bottom of Pen Y fan in the horseshoe valley. There was a stream running though it. I need to drive there tonight can anyone tell me exactly where it is?
Thanks
Jason

Hi
Yes, I should have explained better, I know where Pen Y Fan is! It was the exact location of the Farm campsite at the bottom of the valley next to a stream I was trying to locate... Although after some searching I think I may have found the place or at least a camp site which must be very close to the spot:
B. Powell, Modrydd, Libanus, Brecon, Powys (site: Cwm Llwch 01874-622891 SO 004252
Postcode LD3 8NE. Here's the location on streetmap in case anyone is looking in the future.

No, no it's not! Big thread resurrection but didn't want people to spend a wet afternoon lost like I did on Sunday.
It's actually under the word Llewynbedw in the above map. Not far on foot but a big difference when driving
4 quid per person per night. Lovely spot, well recommended.

:2funny: well done carreauchhompeur. I think resurrecting an 11 year old thread is an all time new Thread Resurrection Record. I wonder how many other people have wandered, lost and wet, trying to find the place between then and now ;D
Perhaps you could resurrect this (http://www.walkingforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=6247.0) topic with your campsite info O0
