I have a Paramo Fuera Ascent windproof which I believe is the predecessor to the Paramo Bentu and I don't experience the problem you describe.

Bear in mind that in the design they have sacrificed the more common flap over the zip with press studs option to keep it as lightweight as possible. It's a lightweight windproof which is showerproof not waterproof and is designed for maximum breathability.

It may help if you can slacken off the drawcords at the hem slightly and keep your hands out of the handwarming pockets as much as possible to keep any pressure pulling the bottom of the zip apart to a minimum.

Another more obvious solution is to eat less pies.  ;D ;D ;D

Done. Although my suggestion of a prison sentence for idiots who light fires under the tree canopy may not be accepted.

I have a Paramo Bentu windproof jacket, and also an Enduro. I find that when I'm out walking the two way front zips start to undo from the bottom. On many jackets there is a press stud or velcro arrangement to prevent such a thing happening, but these Paramo items do not have that.
I was wondering if any other Paramo windproof owners have a similar issue?

Italics are intentional, just Paramo users please, I'm trying to gather info to report to the makers.

"We want to know what you think about nature and wildlife in your local area. What are your favourite places? How do you like to spend time in nature? And what birds, animals, and insects do you love to see? By letting us know what is important to you, you’ll be helping to develop plans to make more space for nature in Cumbria, and we’ll share your priorities and ideas with the organisations who look after local green spaces, nature reserves, and the countryside."

It's a fairly short survey.

And I’m back in the glorious Lakes for the first time this year! In Keswick once again for six whole days of solo walking. Weather allowing, I have a great plan of walks for my time here - hoping to make the most of the just released summer bus timetable to access some new parts of the Lakes for me.

Hello,  I am surprised that a new path was needed up to Carn Liath since the one that I used away back was a reasonable path that could be seen from the A9?   I don't recall any trail to reach Chlamain well, when coming down from the Munro, must be fairly recent and of course fifty years or so is a long time even in hill terrain. :)  The odd think about the only time that I went out to the Tarf Hotel was the lack of any sort of trail. I guess there may have been one under the snow cover and as I have looked up now on the PC that there is quite a long history of the usage of the several buildings that have graced that site.
As my wee logbook reminds me of several visits over the many years have been made to the area around the Tilt. From the Loch Moraig below the path to Carn Liath I have reached the Corbett Ben Vuirich and I just had to connect,  all three of the hills of the Beinn a' Ghlo range during another visit, dropping down from Airgiod Bheinn to return to parking near Loch Moraig.
With the off road bike over the years starting from home to get over the Minigaig pass using the estate track from Glen Feshie the round trip involved Glen Tilt, Bynack Lodge ruin, The Geldie path over to a descent into Glen Feshie  to get back home. On a warm summer evening after work I pedalled up Glen Tilt, left the bike close to the Tarf bridge, then over on a path to Fealar Lodge to reach a happy group of D of E folks for see if all was going well. They young folks were all fine and had a grand time talking with the estate folks who lived there. For me a fine wee run back down the Glen into the setting sun.
It has always been a pleasure to be in the area.

In the "good old days", I was given a map of Dartmoor so old even the paths on that had disappeared and I ended coming across a reservoir that had been built and filled since my map was published. Up until then I thought OS maps were the Bible when it came to finding my way around.  Since then I have discovered parts of them are actually speculative fiction, especially when it comes the PROW.  Heck, I have lost whole woods before now - once upon a time that sort of thing would have worried me.
