The annual Rossendale Round the Hills walk, 18 miles starting and ending at Fearns School is this Sunday 7th from 9am. Every year hundreds do this taking in the local hills such as Cowpe Lowe, Cribden, Hameldon and so on. It's free (donation welcomed though) and you get a certificate if you complete. I t's been running since the 1960's. I'm doing it, is anyone else?
