The Dales Way is a long distance footpath of about 80 miles (129 km) situated in the north of England and running from Ilkley to Bowness-on-Windermere.

I have not heard of the dales way, sounds like a good walk to do. The website is not up to much, which is a shame.

Dales Way -- has a lot of members of their association -- and I'd like to know how they attract so many when we (Heart of England Way Association ) struggle!! Well maybe its the location location location ! The newsletter is quite a struggle to read -- loads of pages !!
The route is not as well way marked as it could be in some areas -- again we have good volunteer support for wardening --
Nice location though !!
