Loving the snow
« on: 18:01:02, 09/02/09 »
Don't get many days like this in south wales

Came off the mountian in the fading light and just still can't get over how beautful t was and uplifting to be watching boarders throwing themselves off the ridge, amazing.

Pen-y-Fan, we walked up from the picnic area just south of Storey Arms, still thick with snow up there at the moment, the path is icy though so its tough going without crampons.

That's the full moon, was a nightmare cos everyone goes into labour on a full moon so I went into work and it was bedlam, just kept thinking about the hill then all night!  I did have a snowball at me though, my other half squished it til it was solid ice and caught me right in the solar plexis... this is a man who claims to love me... he's lucky I was too far away to swing a pole at him!
