I have just read through the posts on your blog now glovepuppet 

I've really enjoyed reading your blog and looking at your photos. Stunning and interesting architecture throughout. The distances you both walked each day in the heat, I am surprised your feet have survived it, great achievement

I hoped to paint a picture of what it was like for us, including the good and the not-so-good, as I think too many reports are a bit too sentimental. Films like "The Way" show certain aspects well, but others not at all, and those skipped over are often the unglamorous bits!

Ha! We have a lot of photos in common! Brings it all back rather vividly - the same as when I read my own personal blog from those 40+ days on the road in autumn 2013.
