Pacific Crest Trail 2016
« on: 11:49:16, 28/12/14 »
Hi

In 2016 I will be walking the PCT, hopefully raising some money for Mountain Rescue.

If there is anyone else from the UK planning the trip, I would like to compare notes, and share any ideas and advice.  Maybe even walk a few of the miles together.

I wish you well. Its sounds a great idea but for me just too far ahead to think about. I am always interested in such walks so hopefully from time to time you will update the Forum with your progress.

I have done a few miles (6 days) along the JMT which shares some of the PCT.

There are loads of good blogs out there, plus people like Chris Townsend on Twitter would answer questions I'm sure!

Walking with Wired is pretty good - http://www.walkingwithwired.com/p/home-page.html

It looks an amazing experience.

Beyond my reach sadly, but would also love to share the experience via the forum?
Wish you well with this.  O0
