A 'Double-Walk' Day
« on: 04:47:20, 03/04/09 »
Went for 2 walks today  :)

First walk was in the morning up on Pendle hill, then I took the missus for a run over to the Castleton/Edale area  :)

Loads of walkers there, campsites seemed busy too, lots of tents about

Returning home via Whaley Bridge we called at the Swan Inn at Kettleshulme village, a very pretty countryside pub which has a nice beer garden with a little stream going through it
Enjoy a well-earned pint before heading home

Taken at Ladybower Reservoir car park

This was taken just outside Castleton village, nice walking country there  ;)

Enjoyed the day, caught the sun though and turned a bit red  :2funny:

But made the most of a nice sunny day  :)
