lovely colours Mikey. I went up Skiddaw last week (stayed at Skiddaw House) and the heather was spectacular, the downside being that the midges were out in force!

Is that path the big ugly scar that's visible for miles up the side of Skiddaw?
 
If it is, I've just had my opinion changed of that great big lump of lifeless looking hill.

pick me up on the way Mel, lol. It certainly looks a lot nicer than when I passed by it on the Cumbria Way a few weeks ago.
