Curbar Edge, Froggatt Edge, and White Edge
« on: 15:41:56, 28/02/17 »
I had my kids over for a few days and needed somewhere to go where they could do a bit of scrambling on the rocks. I thought Curbar Edge would be perfect and it was! Made a nice little practice for them before I take them to Snowdonia again later in the year. They normally live in Norfolk so it's rare they get an opportunity to be amongst the hills - or even see them from a distance! The eldest has been doing indoor climbing for the last year and so loves any opportunity to do it for real. It's a shame I can't actually take him proper climbing as I have no idea myself. Anyway, from Curbar Edge we carried on to Froggatt Edge then back along White Edge. I kept it short as I knew they'd be spending a lot of time on Curbar messing about.

Thanks for the posting. One of my favourite walks. Happy memories.
These boots are made for walking.... so long as the rest of my body agrees
