Superb
I've had a condensed version of this walk plotted for some time ready for one of our two or three snowdonia visits per year, but not got around to it yet, that will change

Great blog post and photos, thanks. What stunning scenery! Cwm Eigiau is one of my favaourite parts of Snowdonia, so remote and so rugged.

Really nice photos and blog Dave you really do get some nice days out
It's a favourite walk of mine you really do get to experience the solitude of the mountains on it
I did it last year but instead of heading back down from Foel Grach I went to Llanfairfechen via Foel Fras and Drum
I never saw another human soul since I left Tal y Bont a total of 8 hours of mountain solitude...sweet

It's a splendid part of Wales - I bet you've spent a bit of time hanging off Craig yr Ysfa as well?

Brilliant. I was up there a few weeks back but headed up to foel fras and along to foel grach where I came down out of the mist and damp for a look round the old quarries. Will have to get my tr''s up. A great quiet area.
