A link to my recently finished coast to coast. 12 days between 13th and 24th May. Bit long to put on forum, so if you fancy a read how my walk went please feel free to do so

Thanks. Enjoyed reading the report. The photos give a great idea of what the trail is like to someone like me who hasn't done it.

Thanks. I like the farmer with the sense of humour. Nice to see that you did your duty and safety delivered the stone. Well done.
These boots are made for walking.... so long as the rest of my body agrees

Great read. I would say it reminds me of when we did it, but not so sure. Loft Beck in your photos looks like it has no water running down at all. It resembled a waterfall for us and we really struggled to get across. My feet were soaking as it came well over the top of our boots.

Yes, you are correct in your observations, Loft Beck hardly had any water running, no problem crossing over it. It was the next two days that changed things for me, I still have nightmares from it  >:(

Well I did read it, all of it. Great write up Mick, the weather was with you 'most' of the way.

What a great read. It reminded me of my C2C in 2015.
