Hello from London
« on: 19:52:57, 03/07/17 »
Hello! I'm a keen hill walker (unfortunately) based in London - which makes going to the hills expensive..! I am hoping to take the next step in my outdoor pursuits and go from day walks to two-dayers involving wild camping.

See you around!

Welcome from Essex so not too far from you. hills might be expensive, but they are so worth it, only joined here in Spring already been to the Lake District twice and back there for a week on 5th Aug with my son and hoping to bag my/our first wild camp  :)
Desperately trying to escape and venture in the wild outdoors...

Hi Buntonn! Yes, hills might be expensive although I have got into the habit of working out all possible combinations of transport/accommodation and found that it gets slightly cheaper every trip.

I hope you enjoy your wild camp with your son - hopefully I'd be able to do the same if I ever have offspring..!
