One night wild camp - recommendation
« on: 13:18:54, 10/07/17 »
Hi we are heading up to the central lakes and would like to do one night wild camp hoping to watch the sun rise. Any suggestions we have an 12 year old and a couple of working spaniels so somewhere not at the top of a cliff preferable . Many Thanks

Glaramara ridge is as good as anywhere. Lots of nice places to stop and lots of interesting ways to get there.

Having just been up Bowscale Fell I could highly recommend Bowscale Tarn as a great spot for a wild camp.
I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake.
