Following on from yesterday's report, please see photos of the second half of Sunday's walk from Langdale to Grasmere. After descending Bright Beck I took in Blea Rigg. I took a short detour in the direction of Elterwater while traversing the broad ridge. It was the best detour I've ever made as views opened up of Great Langdale encompassed by Lakeland giants of the Crinkles, Langdale Pikes and Bowfell. Great Langdale is my favourite Lakeland valley. After admiring the views I returned to the path to continue onto Silver How. The main highlight was the double lake panorama of Rydal and Grasmere Lake. Dropping down to Grasmere I caught the 555 service back to Keswick with 5 minutes to spare.
