If you're up this way we've got a spare bed so no benches required.


Thanks Percy but Goodwins bus will take me back to our bolt hole in publess Brooklands.


I only mentioned the bench as I did see a 'gentleman' having a snooze in Altrincham precinct after his liquid picnic from a carrier bag at his feet. Thought it might be a local custom. :)

If memory serves me right there used to be about 21 pubs in the Alty pub crawl. Depending on what you count as Alty the two in bowdon and broadheath could also be counted. Not sure there's that many now as one or two have bit the dust where as a few "bars" have opened. Not frequented Alty for a few years after being bought up in the area, Sale is home now. 😎
