VR - wild camp near Barf summit
« on: 13:52:19, 17/08/17 »

hi guys beefy here  8)

heres a short video of a wild camp near Barf summit
as you can see in the video the water was brown,
even after filtering, it was the worst water we've ever had it tasted rotten,
even worse than the corpse water we had one time  :o
we managed to pitch behind a little hump which protected us from the wind, with a great view out of the tent, it was freezing in the wind though, more like winter
we got a great sunset despite the horizon clouding over a bit
we had some food and wine and watched the magic unravel as the sunset covered the fells with a warm glow of colour and the sun finally set in all its glory
we awoke the next morning to a lovely sunny day, the views from Barf summit were stunning...

Lovely vid beefy  O0

The water was safe to drink it just tasted of peat, it was awful mind. Strange how when it was boiled it got rid of the peaty taste, never noticed that before.

I hope we get a good sunset this weekend too  O0

Great vid and pictures Beefy.

It does look like you've rigged up some awful medical procedure outside the tent.

Great video.  That water looks a bit like home brew.

Careful, Karl, she'll fry you some of those mushrooms we saw in the video for your breakfast!

The videos get better and better, well done Beefy  O0  Fantastic scenery and lovely cloud effects.

Presume you didn't have the red capped mushrooms for breakfast.

Did Aunty Muriel tag along this time ?  :D

So there's no seat at Lords seat-i think someone added it on open street map for a laugh.
My wife thinks it's funny every time we go there to dance round the iron bar there in your vid and say she's a pole dancer.
There's often those mushrooms up there, bright red, look gorgeous, unlike that bag full of pee.
Lords seat is the windiest place I've ever been. Only place I've ever lost something due to the wind-on more than one occasion.

@Ridge it reminds me of when i was in hospital and overfilled a certain bag which went spilling all over the floor  :o

@Pleb well as you know i dont drink, but i have to carry all that booze otherwise she beats me  :D

@Penygadair i wish it was, it tasted rotten  :(

@karl dont forget all that farting i have to put up with too  ;D

@fernman it wouldnt be the first time she's tried to poison us, she does lumpy custard too ya know  ;D

@Mel thank you, the timelapse was filmed with my gopro, its slightly distorted due to the wide angle lens, i usually use my sony for these  :)

@Dovegirl thank you im glad you like it  :)

@Welsh Rambler thank you, we left the mushrooms well alone,
Aunty Muriel was at home in a drunken stupor, thats who trained up Ape' to be an alcoholic  :D

@jethro im glad my pee doesn't look like that  ;D
