Campsites
« on: 17:42:15, 18/08/17 »
Hi I'm new to the forum! I'm from stoke on trent love hiking whenever I get the chance. Recently climbed Ben Nevis, north face arête. There was a love hate relationship with that climb but so worth it.
I'm going to the Lake District this weekend for a few days and can anyone recommend campsites that maybe aren't on the usual google search or little hidden gems that you've come across. Any advice would be great 😁

We stayed at Church Stile in Nether Wasdale earlier in the year, I can't recommend it enough.

Cheers for that link from me too Ridge  O0

I seem to remember seeing a topic on recommended campsites somewhere in the depths of this forum... Carrington, it might be worth using the search function (top right) to see what it unearths... although recent recommendations from recent visits is always a good thing  :)

Well look what I found. A few years out of date maybe time for a resurrection.
